Mick Sanders...Selected as a FIVE STAR: Best in Client Satisfaction Real Estate Agent SM by St. Louis Magazine for TEN consecutive years, including 2018!
Mick has always loved a challenge...whether it’s watching his skaters compete at a roller skating championship, studying to be a paramedic, writing textbooks, or becoming a top producer for RE/MAX Results.
Mick's "I can do this" attitude has helped him achieve many things. Mick began roller skating when he was two years old. His parents were skaters and coached him until he became a professional skater at the age of 18. Over the years, Mick has earned a name for himself as a respected USAC Advanced Level Coach who works with National Champions. He is also certified to judge the Gold Medal in artistic and speed skating test centers throughout the United States.
In 1978, Mick was accepted at St. Louis University School of Medicine to train as a paramedic. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Managerial Administration from Lindenwood University in St. Charles. He worked as a paramedic for a number of years, and was later recruited as a Training Specialist for the Missouri Department Health in the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. There he oversaw EMT and paramedic training in the St. Louis metropolitan area for more than 12 years. During his "spare" time, he authored Sanders' Paramedic Textbook (formerly known as Mosby's Paramedic Textbook) —now in its 5th edition, and a leading national and international textbook for paramedic education.
In 1995, Mick was looking for another challenge. He received his Missouri Broker’s License in real estate and sold more than $1 million during his first year at Coldwell Banker. It was also in that first year that he was selected as one of Coldwell Banker's Rising Stars in residential real estate sales. Later he became a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and was designated as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)–a designation held by less than 4% of all Realtors in the United States. Mick is also a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and a Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) Specialist. These certifications and his experience give him special expertise in Short Sales, Bankruptcy Sales, Foreclosures, and REO properties. In 2005, Mick joined the RE/MAX Team and in 2013, moved his business to RE/MAX Results.
Mick believes that like the health care industry, real estate is about helping people. His integrity and positive outlook have made him a successful agent with an impeccable reputation. He constantly challenges himself to be the best agent and aspires to work harder to give his clients the best service—this he consistently achieves. “I guess you could call it my philosophy. No matter how demanding the job...I was brought up to believe you can accomplish it as long as you have the will—and believe in yourself."
